This was Brian Duvall’s second speech from the Competent Toastmaster manual. The purpose of this exercise is to practice organizing your speech into a logical opening, body, & conclusion.
There are ten speech exercises in the Competent Toastmaster manual that you receive when you join. When you complete all ten, you are awarded the Competent Toastmaster designation. Advanced manuals are also available as you work toward your Advanced Toastmaster designation.
